ElevenLabs is an AI audio company based in London. It was founded in 2022 by Mati Staniszewski, its chief executive, and Piotr Dabkowski. It started with text-to-speech models and has expanded into speech-to-text, sound effects, dubbing, music and conversational agents that businesses deploy for customer support, sales and public services.
Its newest speech models, Eleven v4 and v4 Turbo, were released in September 2026. ElevenAgents, its platform for voice and chat agents, is its fastest-growing product, and enterprise customers account for 55% of revenue. The company closed 2025 with more than $330 million in annual recurring revenue and has teams in cities including New York, San Francisco, Warsaw, Tokyo and Bengaluru.
ElevenLabs raised $500 million at an $11 billion valuation in February 2026 in a round led by Sequoia Capital. In September 2026 it completed a $300 million employee tender, a sale of shares held by staff, led by Wellington and T. Rowe Price, that valued it at $22 billion. Its investors also include Andreessen Horowitz, ICONIQ and NVIDIA.
