CoreWeave is a cloud provider built for AI. It rents large clusters of NVIDIA GPUs, with the software to run them, to AI labs, AI-native companies and enterprises, and says nine of the ten leading AI labs build and run AI on its platform. It operates more than 50 data centres in the United States and Europe, and in 2026 it was the first to deploy and validate NVIDIA's Vera Rubin NVL72 systems.

Michael Intrator, Brian Venturo, Brannin McBee and Peter Salanki founded the company in New Jersey in 2017, and all four still hold senior roles. It is based in Livingston, New Jersey. It listed on Nasdaq in March 2025 and was selected for the Nasdaq-100 index in 2026. NVIDIA owns close to 13% of the company.

CoreWeave is growing fast while still losing money. In the second quarter of 2026 revenue rose 112% to $2.58 billion, with a net loss of $626 million. Its revenue backlog was about $104 billion at 30 June 2026, and it had 1.5 gigawatts of active power and about 3.7 gigawatts under contract. Intrator said near-term capacity remained effectively sold out.
