On 25 March 2025 Google released Gemini 2.5 Pro Experimental, which it called its most intelligent AI model and a “thinking model” that reasons before answering. Google said it led the LMArena leaderboard, where people vote on which chatbot answers better, by a significant margin. It shipped with a 1 million token context window, the amount of text it can take in at once.
