Anthropic, the company behind the Claude chatbot, raised $13 billion in a Series F funding round led by ICONIQ, Fidelity and Lightspeed, valuing it at $183 billion after the investment. It said its run-rate revenue (current revenue projected over a full year) had grown from about $1 billion at the start of 2025 to more than $5 billion by August, with its Claude Code coding tool alone above $500 million.
