On 3 March 2025 Anthropic announced a $3.5 billion Series E, a late-stage funding round, at a $61.5 billion post-money valuation (the company's value including the new money), led by Lightspeed Venture Partners. It said the money would go on next-generation models, compute, interpretability and alignment research, and international expansion.
