Amazon invested a further $4 billion in Anthropic, taking its total to $8 billion while remaining a minority investor. Anthropic named AWS (Amazon Web Services) its primary cloud and training partner and said it would work with AWS's Annapurna Labs on Trainium, its AI training chips.
