Google DeepMind launched Gemini 1.0 in Ultra, Pro and Nano sizes, and a tuned Gemini Pro went into Bard the same day. The models were built from the start to work across text, images and other kinds of input (multimodal). The launch's most shared demo video had been made from still frames and text prompts and did not show live interaction, which Bloomberg first reported.
