Anthropic released Claude 2 and opened claude.ai, a public beta (an early, unfinished release) chat site for anyone in the US and UK. The model accepted up to 100,000 tokens (small chunks of text) in a prompt, enough for hundreds of pages. Anthropic reported gains over Claude 1.3 in coding, maths and the multiple-choice section of the US Bar exam.
